Built in 1971 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1999, the Hotel Isla Dorada has a total of 125 guest rooms, including 119 twin rooms and a further 6 Suites, which are built over 7 floors and set amidst 200m2 of sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian dishes, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, as well as a Jacuzzi, sauna and gymnasium, and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Isla Dorada also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
