Built in 1960 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1998, the modern low rise Hotel Illetas Club Playa has a total of 67 guest rooms, including 60 twin rooms and a further 7 singles, which are built over 4 floors and set amidst almost 400m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Palma.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, mini bar and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Illetas Club Playa also offers the use of 3 large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, with the capacity to seat a maximum of 90 people, all of which are fully equipped with a selection of the latest state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens overlooking the sea which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground, as well as both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel Illetas Club Playa also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Health and Fitness Centre, which features a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with sauna and Jacuzzi, as well as offering a variety of other cosmetic and massage treatments.

The Hotel Illetas Club Playa also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment, with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
