Built in 1969 and fully refurbished during the winter of 2004/2005, the modern low rise Hotel Gran Vista has a total of 338 guest rooms, including 15 single rooms, 313 doubles and a further 10 self catering apartments that are part of the Grupotel Aldea Gran Vista development. Overall, the hotel complex is built over 5 floors and set amidst almost 20,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hair dryer, direct dial telephone, satellite television with music channels, safety deposit box available for rental, mini-bar and either a terrace of balcony, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, apartments on the Grupotel Aldea Gran Vista development also have an open plan kitchenette and a combined lounge/dining room with sofa beds, and all guest rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant with show cooking, offering guests a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian dishes, as well as a games room, snack bar, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals and both pool and lounge bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Gran Vista also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, seating a maximum of 40 people, which is fully equipped with a selection of the latest state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests include a choice of freshwater swimming pools with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, two artificial grass tennis courts, a beach volleyball court, mini-golf course along with an indoor cycling centre with workshop, garage and shop.

In addition to the above facilities, the Hotel Gran Vista also offers guests the use of their newly opened Spa and Wellness Centre with an additional heated indoor pool, hydromassage, whirlpool, sauna, Turkish bath, therma, ice cave, pediluvium, along with a relax-room with thermical lounges, essential oil showers and a well equipped gymnasium. Cosmetic and beauty treatments available at the Spa also include facials, body, Vichy treatments, manicure, pedicure, depilation etc, as well as reflexotherapy and various types of massages.

The Hotel Gran Vista also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.

In 2006, in recognition of the Grupotel high standards of environmental management, the Hotel Gran Vista was awarded the internationally renowned certification ISO 14001:2004, along with the TUI Environment Champions prize for being one of the 100 most environmentally-friendly hotels worldwide.
