Built in 1980 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2000, the modern Hotel Gran Playa has a total of 177 guest rooms, including 160 double rooms and a further 17 singles, which are built over 7 floors and set amidst almost 100m2 of well kept Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette and a combined lounge/dining room with satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, along with a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
