Extensively refurbished during the winter of 2007, the modern low rise Hotel Galatzo has a total of 172 guest rooms, including 94 standard Comfort rooms, 7 Superior rooms, 31 Family rooms and a further 39 Junior Suites, all of which are set amidst almost 54,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Paguera.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, hairdryer, bathrobes and cosmetic mirror, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone with high speed ADSL internet access, mini bar, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, all rooms are also provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned à-la-carte restaurant offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, snack bar, public internet terminals with high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Galatzo also offers the use of 8 large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, seating a maximum of 340 guests, all of which are fully equipped with a selection of modern audio visual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a choice of two large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, one of which has an integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Of special interest to sports enthusiasts, the Hotel Galatzo also offers the use of five different tennis courts, including one natural grass and a further two covered clay courts.

Guests staying at the Hotel Galatzo also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Health and Fitness Centre, which features a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with sauna, cardiovascular gymnasium and Jacuzzi, as well as offering a variety of other cosmetic and massage treatments.
