Part of the Grupotel Group of hotels, the 3 star Hotel Farrutx is situated around 200 metres from the beach in the popular resort of C'an Picafort on the north coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 60km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1968 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1991, the modern Hotel Farrutx has a total of 170 guest rooms, including 154 twin rooms and a further 16 singles, which are built over 8 floors and set amidst spacious sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian dishes, as well as a games room, snack bar, laundry and medical services and both pool and lounge bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with integrated children's section and Jacuzzi, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a smaller indoor heated swimming pool, with Jacuzzi and sauna, as well as a children's playground and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Farrutx also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
