Built in 1987 and fully refurbished during the winter of 2004, the Hotel El Lago has a total of 110 double guest rooms which are built over 5 floors and set amidst 1,500m2 of well kept gardens and sun terraces.

All guest rooms at the hotel can sleep a maximum of 4 people and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, separate bedroom with twin beds, as well as a lounge area with two additional sofa-beds, a fully equipped kitchenette with fridge, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a terrace or balcony, many of which have pool and garden views. In addition to the above, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and luggage room for late departures, along with a buffet style restaurant, laundry service, games room and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests include a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with separate children's section, and spacious sun terraces furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground, mini-golf and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel El Lago also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities as well as evening entertainment with live music, cabaret and other professional shows several times each week.
