Built in 1963 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2007, the modern low rise Hotel Coronado has a total of 116 guest rooms, including 90 standard twin rooms, 24 singles and a further 2 Suites, which are built over 5 floors and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Paguera.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, cosmetic mirror and hairdryer, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, mini bar, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with spacious sun terraces and gardens overlooking the bay which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Guests staying at the Hotel Coronado also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Health and Fitness Centre, which features a smaller indoor heated swimming pool, which is open during the cooler winter months, with sauna, Jacuzzi and cardiovascular gymnasium.
