Built in 1965 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1999, the modern Hotel Castell Del Mar has a total of 230 guest rooms, including 198 double rooms, 31 Junior Suites and 1 Family Suite, which are built over 12 floors, and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a satellite television with music channels, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental, fridge and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the sea.

In addition to the above features, both the Junior and Family Suites at the Hotel Castell Del Mar also have a spacious lounge area, and all guest rooms at the hotels are provided with a maid service undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with sauna, Turkish bath and Jacuzzi, along with a Spa and Wellness Centre offering a variety a cosmetic and beauty treatments.

The Hotel Castell Del Mar also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
