Built in 1957 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2000, the modern Hotel Cala Gran has a total of 77 guest rooms, including 66 double rooms, 4 singles and a further 7 Suites, which are built over 4 floors and set amidst 1,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, along with a games room, air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with spacious sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club as well as tennis and squash courts and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Cala Gran also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
