Built in 1969 and partially renovated during the winter of 2003, the modern low rise Hotel Balmes has a total of 120 guest rooms, including 116 twin rooms and a further 4 singles, which are built over 4 floors and set amidst 350m2 of well kept gardens and sun terraces around a small central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian dishes, as well as a games room, snack bar, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and a lounge bar.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a small outdoor freshwater swimming pool, with integrated children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
