Built in 1965 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1999, the modern low rise Hotel Bahia del Este has a total of 188 guest rooms, including 167 standard twin rooms and a further 21 singles, which are built over 5 floors and set amidst almost 1,200m2 of well kept Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a satellite television with music channels, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental, fridge and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, a number of guest rooms at the Hotel Bahia del Este have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Bahia del Este also offer a use of two large light-flooded conference and meeting rooms, seating up to a maximum of 45 guests, both of which are equipped with ergonomic furniture and a selection of modern audiovisual equipment, including internet access in one room

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with a separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini golf course, and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel Bahia del Este also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Spa and Wellness Centre, which features a smaller indoor heated swimming pool, open during the cooler winter months, with sauna, Jacuzzi and cardiovascular gymnasium, as well as offering a variety of other cosmetic and beauty treatments provided by a qualified Therapeutist from the Nature Cure Centre in Cala Millor.

The Hotel Bahia del Este also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring boules, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
