The 3 star Hotel Astoria Playa is situated along the north coast of Majorca, approximately 1.5km from the centre of the resort of Alcudia where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops. The hotel is 60km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and around 100 metres from the wide sandy Alcudia beach.

Built in 1982 and fully refurbished during the winter of 1999, the Hotel Astoria Playa has a total of 186 guest rooms including 162 double rooms and 24 singles that are built over 6 floors and set amidst 3,000m2 of landscaped Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have either pool or garden views. In addition to the above, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception desk with currency exchange services along with a luggage room, air conditioned buffet style restaurant serving a wide variety of national and international dishes with weekly thematic Gala dinners elaborated with products from the island, as well as a lounge bar with satellite television and pool bar.

Sporting and leisure facilities available for guests include an outdoor freshwater swimming pool with separate children's section, and spacious sun terraces furnished with loungers and parasols, along with a children's playground, tennis court, mini golf and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Astoria Playa also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities featuring darts, pool games and aerobics as well as evening entertainment with live music, cabaret and other professional shows several times each week.
