Built in 1998, the modern low rise Aparthotel Alzinar Mar has a total of 117 guest rooms, including 111 self catering apartments and a further 6 studio flats, which are built over 3 floors and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area. In addition to the above, the complex also features a further 32 one and two bedroomed self contained villas, which are built within the garden area and are separate from the main building.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, hairdryer and cosmetic mirror, along with an open plan kitchenette with fridge and a combined lounge/dining room with sofa beds, satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, 3 apartments have also been specially adapted for disabled guests and all rooms at the hotel are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian dishes, as well as a games room, snack bar, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals and both pool and lounge bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with integrated Jacuzzi and separate children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with sauna and gymnasium, as well as a children's playground and mini club, and both pool and table tennis tables.

For sports enthusiasts, the Aparthotel Alzinar Mar also offers the use of 5 hard surface tennis courts, which are situated adjacent to the hotel and under separate management, as well as a multi-purpose sports activity area for five a side football and volleyball etc.

The Aparthotel Alzinar Mar also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring boules, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
