Built in 1972 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2006, the modern Hotel Alicia has a total of 166 guest rooms, including 139 twin rooms and 27 singles, that are built over 5 floors and set amidst 1,000m2 of gardens and sun terraces overlooking the pedestrianised promenade and Cala Bona's sandy/rocky beach.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated at the manager's discretion according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have either pool or sea views. In addition to the above, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk, luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant, a games room, public internet terminals, television lounge and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests include an outdoor freshwater swimming pool with separate children's section and spacious sun terraces and gardens furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a smaller indoor heated pool with sauna and gymnasium, as well as a children's playground and mini club, and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Alicia also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities featuring pistol shooting, archery, pool games and aerobics as well as evening entertainment with a children’s disco followed by either live music, cabaret and other professional shows several times each week.
