The 2 star Hostel Playa Sol is situated around 300 metres from the Playa de Palma beach
in the popular resort of S'Arenal on the central south coast of Majorca. The hostel is approximately 15km east of
the capital Palma, 8km east of the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre
of the resort, where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops. Built in 1960 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2004, the family run Hostel Playa Sol has a total of 34 guest rooms, including 24 twin rooms and a further 10 singles, which are built over 4 floors. All guest rooms at the Hostel Playa Sol come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a telephone and balcony with exterior views over the town. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week. Guest facilities on offer include a reception area with currency exchange services, and luggage rooms for late departures, along with a buffet style restaurant, public internet terminals, safety deposit boxes available for rental, and a lounge bar with satellite television.
