Built in 1986 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2003, the modern low rise Gran Bahia Apartment complex has a total of 37 self catering apartments and studio flats, which are located in a 3 storey annexe building adjacent to the 8 storey Hotel Gran Bahia.

All guest rooms are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator, and a combined lounge/dining room with sofa beds, satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the sea. In addition to the above, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guests staying at the Gran Bahia Apartments have full access to the facilities and installations at the Hotel Gran Bahia which includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian dishes, as well as a games room, supermarket, snack bar, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals and both pool and lounge bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests at the Hotel Gran Bahia includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with separate children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a well equipped gymnasium with sauna and Jacuzzi, as well as both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Gran Bahia also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
