Built in 1990 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2005, the modern low rise Arcos Playa complex is a small development of 66 one and two bedroom self catering apartments, which are distributed between 2 three storey buildings and set amidst spacious sun terraces overlooking a central pool area.

All guest rooms are centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings and refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception desk with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and a comfortable lounge bar.

Sporting and leisure facilities available for guests includes a small outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and sun terraces which are furnished with sun loungers and parasols.

The Arcos Playa Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with either dancing to live music, games or folk music several times a week.
