Built in 1989 and fully renovated during the winter of 2003, the modern Aparthotel Viva Tropic has a total of 301 guest rooms including 208 one and two bedroomed self catering apartments and 93 studio flats, that are built over 5 floors and set amidst 6,500m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces.

All guest rooms on the complex are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, along with a kitchenette, a combined lounge/dining room with sofa beds, as well as a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have either pool or garden views. In addition to the above, 18 apartments have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a maid service undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen every 3 days.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk, luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant offering a choice of menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, supermarket, laundry service and both lounge and pool bars. For business guests, the Aparthotel Viva Tropic also offers a choice of three conference and meeting rooms, with the capacity to seat up to 50 guests, which are all equipped with a selection of modern audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests include a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with separate children's section and spacious sun terraces and gardens furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a smaller indoor heated pool with sauna, Jacuzzi and gymnasium, as well as a children's playground and mini club, and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Aparthotel Viva Tropic also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities featuring pistol shooting, archery, pool games and aerobics as well as evening entertainment with a children’s disco followed by either live music, cabaret and other professional shows several times each week.
