Part of the prestigious Viva Group of hotels, the 4 star rated Aparthotel Viva Sunrise is situated around 400 metres from the beach, in the popular resort of Puerto de Alcudia on the north coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 60km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 1km from the harbour and Alcudia resort centre with its selection of shops, bars restaurant and nightlife.

Built in 1989 and fully renovated during the winter of 2016, the modern low rise Aparthotel Viva Sunrise has a total of 254 guest rooms, including 191 one and two bedroom self catering apartments and a further 63 studio flats, that are built over 5 floors and set amidst almost 4,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms on the complex are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette, a combined lounge/dining room with sofa beds, as well as a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have either pool or garden views.

In addition to the above features, 10 apartments at the Aparthotel Viva Sunrise have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a maid service undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen every 3 days.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and both luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, a supermarket, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Aparthotel Viva Sunrise also offers the use of two large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, with the capacity to seat up to 70 guests, which are both equipped with a selection of modern audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, and both pool and table tennis tables.

Of special interest to cyclists, the Aparthotel Viva Sunrise has a specially adapted area for storing, maintaining and repairing bicycles, which is equipped with individual security fittings, as well as a selection of basic cleaning and repair tools.

The Aparthotel Viva Sunrise also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
