Hotel Las Gaviotas - Playa de Muro

The 4 star Hotel Las Gaviotas is situated around 120 metres from the beach in the popular resort of Playa de Muro on the north coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 60km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a small selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1966 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2008, the modern low rise Hotel Las Gaviotas has a total of 164 guest rooms, including 118 one bedroom suites, 39 standard twin rooms and a further 7 two bedroom self catering apartments, which are built over 4 floors and set amidst almost 15,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, mini bar, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, both the suites and apartments at the Hotel Las Gaviotas also have a lounge area with additional sofa beds, and all rooms are provided with a daily maid service undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals with WiFi access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes two large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a cardiovascular gymnasium and both pool and table tennis tables.
