Built in 1984 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1999, the modern Aparthotel Dunas has a total of 101 guest rooms, including 84 one bedroom and further 17 two bedroom self catering apartments, which are built over 5 floors and set amidst spacious sun terraces and Mediterranean style gardens around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with an open plan kitchenette with kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge, as well as a combined lounge/dining room with satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, along with a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with separate children's section and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a smaller indoor heated pool with gymnasium along with a children's playground and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Aparthotel Dunas also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring boules, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.

In recognition of the Hipotels group high standards of customer care and management systems, the Aparthotel Dunas has been awarded the internationally renowned certification of ISO 9001:2000 Certificate for Quality, as well as ISO 14001:2004 certification awarded for the achievement of the highest standards in environmental management procedures.
