Aparthotel Club Marthas - Cala d'or

The 4 star Aparthotel Club Marthas is situated around 300 metres from the Cala Egos beach in the Es Forti district of the popular resort of Cala d'or on the southern east coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 60km east of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and around 1km from the picturesque Cala d'or marina and pedestrianised centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1989 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2008, the modern low rise Aparthotel Club Marthas has a total of 279 guest rooms, offering a choice of both one bedroom self catering apartments and studio flats, which are built over 3 floors and set amidst spacious sun terraces and Mediterranean style gardens around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooker, refrigerator and microwave oven, and a combined lounge/dining room with two sofa-beds, dining table, satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a television lounge, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a choice of 3 large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, along with a separate smaller children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a smaller indoor heated swimming pool, open during the cooler winter months, along with a children's playground and mini club, hard surface tennis courts and a multi sports activity area for football, volley ball and basketball etc.

The Aparthotel Club Marthas also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
