Part of the Grupotel Group of hotels, the 3 star Aparthotel Alcudia Suites is situated around 200 metres
from the beach, in the popular resort of Playa de Muro on the north coast of Majorca. The hotel is
approximately 60km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a short
walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a selection of shops, bars restaurant
and nightlife. Built in 1987 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1999, the modern low rise Aparthotel Alcudia Suite has a total of 122 guest rooms, including 113 one bedroom self catering apartments and a further 9 studio flats, which are built over 4 floors and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area. All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings and refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone, satellite television with music channels, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week. Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars. Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club and both pool and table tennis tables. The Aparthotel Alcudia Suite also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
